New lease agreed with Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce at the Hub
The owner and landlord of Aberdeen Energy and Innovation Parks, has recently agreed a new long-term lease with Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce. The deal underlines the Chamber’s commitment to the parks.
The Chamber has been based at the Energy Park since 2012 and has agreed a new five-year lease on their 4,826 sq ft ground floor office space at The Hub on the Energy Park in Bridge of Don. The Chamber office is adjacent to Grub Cafe and directly below Elevator UK.
In renewing the lease, the Chamber is planning an office refurbishment programme at the Hub, which is scheduled to commence in July and be completed by September.

Russell Borthwick, Chief Executive of Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce, said:
“The Hub continues to be the ideal location for the Chamber. This investment is not just about creating an enhanced, modern base for our team to operate from in the city, it is also a commitment to providing an easily accessible, bright function space for the many businesses who use our office to support their own activities.
“We see it playing a central role in how we bring people together to meet, collaborate, share ideas and do business with each other, the vital in-person connectivity that businesses tell us just can’t be replicated virtually.”
Cherry Paton, Parks Manager added:
“As we start to emerge from lockdown and re-build the North East economy following the global pandemic, the Chamber plays an increasingly essential role in supporting local businesses, helping them to diversify and grow again.
“The Chamber is one of our key occupiers and we are pleased to see such a vital business organisation commit to a further term here at the parks.”
Matt Park, Associate of joint agent Knight Frank said:
“Concluding this deal is a fantastic injection of confidence in the Energy Park and also for the local economy. The parks offer a variety of office solutions for discerning businesses, including serviced offices, co-working space and virtual offices, all with very competitive and flexible terms.”
